Defatted porcine pancreas. Contains elastase, lipase, alpha-amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, ribonuclease and possibly other enzymes.
Approximately, 80% soluble in 50 mM NaOAc pH 5 containing 100mM NaCl.
Activity greater than or equivalent to 8X U.S.P. specifications.
