Description

SOURCE. Leucocytes of Purulent Human Sputum.

SPECIFICATIONS.
Partially purified. Lyophilized, salt-free greenish powder.
Store at 5°C. Stable 2 years.
Sparingly soluble at pH 3-9 in low molarity buffers (<0.05 M NaCl).
The solubility increases with increased NaCl concentration.
Contains elastase (ca 5%), myeloperoxidase (6%), lysozyme (1%), trace cathepsin G, trypsin and other proteins. Also, highly reactive for proteinase 3-Ab by double diffusion.
