Description

Whole serum obtained from rabbits with human tropoelastin. Tested by immunohistology as well as ELISA and Western blot techniques. This product reacts most strongly with human tropoelastin and less strongly with insoluble forms of elastin. It does show extensive cross-reactivity with elastin from other species, although reactivity is somewhat lower for non-human elastins. Those elastins for which reactivity has been documented include bovine, rabbit, pig, sheep, dog.
